PARKING + ARRIVAL TIMES:

If this will be your 1st class at Joywheel or it’s been a long time since your last, we do ask that you arrive at Joywheel 20-25 minutes before your start time. (4505 Algonquin Dr.)

For all others that have been to Joywheel before & feel comfortable setting up their bike, please make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your start time. PLEASE HELP US START ON TIME!

All 3 activities will be at and around the Greenhill Market. The outdoor yoga grass location will be marked.

Once yoga is over head back to the lobby for an after-party with mimosas, bloodys and fruit.  There will be plenty of time for photos!


WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

Due to the cycling portion of the event, we strongly recommend that ladies wear leggings or biker shorts. Traditional short running shorts are not advised. Weather can vary so you may want to bring a long sleeve layer just in case. 

We highly request that you WEAR your RUNNING shoes to start. When you arrive at Joywheel you'll change into the cycling shoes that are provided (or you can bring your own), that way after class you'll be able to change right back into your running shoes. Please leave all sandals in your car.  

You’re welcome to keep all keys and personal items inside Joywheel during the walk/run portion. We will have staff there. For yoga, you’re also welcome to bring your own yoga mat or use a provided one.


ROUTES:

The walk/run portion of the triathlon has 2 routes for you to choose from: either a 2 Mile route OR a 1 Mile Route. You can choose to walk / run / or alternate between both! Both routes will stay around the Greenhill Village neighborhood and will not involve crossing any major intersections.

Please peek at the route beforehand for familiarity and then follow the signs! There will be a lead biker for the 2 mile route. Yoga will wait to start until everyone arrives!

2.2 Mile Route Details

  • Starts by heading east on the frontage road behind Caseys

  • Cross Ashworth Dr. and turn right ➡️ briefly, before cutting over to the bike trail on your left. There will be a sign and person there to help!

  • Follow the bike path until it comes to a T intersection, then turn right ➡️to get off the trail and back into residential. 

  • This will bring you out between 2 street…
    turn ⬅️ left initially and then shortly after turn right ➡️ to get onto Erik Road heading west. 

  • Once you reach Hudson road, turn right ➡️ to stay on the sidewalk and head north back towards Greenhill. 

  • Turn right ➡️ again once you reach Greenhill and finish the home stretch back to Joywheel. 

  • Remember, you will not need to cross any stoplights/major intersections!

1.1 Mile Route Details

  • Starts by heading north on Algonquin

  • On Greenhill, turn right ➡️ and head east in front of Caseys

  • Once you reach Ashworth - turn right ➡️

  • Continue until you reach Loren Dr and then turn ⬅️left to stay on the residential sidewalk (Note: this route does not involve the bike trial). 

  • This road loops all around - you’ll turn ⬅️ left again when it comes out on Ashworth by the park.

  • Follow the park by turning right ➡️ once you hit Algonquin Dr., headed north back to Joywheel!
