You’re the friendly first impression of joywheel. You prep the studio, set the vibe, welcome in new riders, catch up with members, answer questions, write love notes, fold towels, clean the floors, rearrange retail…essentially you’re the glue to our studio!

Child Care
Love kids? Love creating a fun + safe space? 💛 We’re looking for caring, playful, dependable team members to join our child care crew!
You’ll be the reason parents can press pause, hop into class, and focus on themselves—knowing their little ones are in good hands. Think games, giggles, story time, and all the small things that make kids feel welcome while their parents get their sweat on.
✖️ Supervise children and participate with children in activities.
✖️ Assist with planning and implementation the daily plans and activities.
✖️ Maintain program site and equipment.
✖️ Communicate with parents on an ongoing basis.
✖️ Provide guidance for children’s behavior.
✖️ Other duties or tasks as designated by the management team.
✖️ Must pass background and reference check.
✖️ Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
✖️ A commitment to working with children in a developmental setting and a sincere desire to have a meaningful effect on their lives.
✖️ Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
✖️ Willingness to complete tasks under the direction of the management team.
✖️ Previous experience in a child care setting is preferred.
✖️ Ability to meet Iowa DHS standards and regulations for a child care employee.
✖️ Perform all physical aspects of the position, including frequently moving around, bending, reaching, and routinely lifting 30 pounds at a time.
✖️ Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/ dangerous situations.
✖️ May assist children in dealing with personal hygiene, medical needs, toileting, diapering, and feeding issues.
✖️ May be exposed to verbal outbursts, physical actions, or bodily fluids as a part of the child care environment.

Content + Marketing Assistant
If you’re a natural with a camera, love capturing real moments, and want to help us tell stories that inspire our community to move — this might be your thing.
✖️ Capture high-quality photo and video content during classes, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
✖️ Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, etc.) that matches Joywheel’s brand + vibe.
✖️ Create a consistent flow of content for our social channels, newsletters, and other marketing.
✖️ Make light updates to the website (copy, photos, events).
✖️ Assist with simple email marketing campaigns.
✖️ Work with the management team on creative campaigns, events, and promotions.
✖️ Stay up-to-date on social trends and bring fresh ideas to the table.
✖️ Represent the Joywheel brand in a fun, professional, and authentic way.
✖️ Proven experience in content creation, photography, videography, or social media management.
✖️ Strong editing skills (apps like CapCut, Canva, or Adobe Suite are a plus).
✖️ Comfort working in a fast-paced, fitness-driven environment.
✖️ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
✖️ Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
✖️ Passion for fitness, wellness, and community-driven storytelling.

Are you a natural born leader? Do you find joy in motivating others to dig deep, sweat (a lot), dance, and push them beyond their limits? Then you’re the rockstar we’re looking for.
✖️ previous fitness experience preferred, but not required
✖️ have taken/will need to take 5 Joywheel classes
✖️ must be/get CPR certified
