You’ll be the reason parents can press pause, hop into class, and focus on themselves—knowing their little ones are in good hands. Think games, giggles, story time, and all the small things that make kids feel welcome while their parents get their sweat on.

✖️ Supervise children and participate with children in activities.
✖️ Assist with planning and implementation the daily plans and activities.
✖️ Maintain program site and equipment.
✖️ Communicate with parents on an ongoing basis.
✖️ Provide guidance for children’s behavior.
✖️ Other duties or tasks as designated by the management team.

✖️ Must pass background and reference check.
✖️ Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
✖️ A commitment to working with children in a developmental setting and a sincere desire to have a meaningful effect on their lives.
✖️ Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
✖️ Willingness to complete tasks under the direction of the management team.
✖️ Previous experience in a child care setting is preferred.
✖️ Ability to meet Iowa DHS standards and regulations for a child care employee.

✖️ Perform all physical aspects of the position, including frequently moving around, bending, reaching, and routinely lifting 30 pounds at a time.
✖️ Ability to recognize and react calmly and effectively in hazardous/ dangerous situations.
✖️ May assist children in dealing with personal hygiene, medical needs, toileting, diapering, and feeding issues.
✖️ May be exposed to verbal outbursts, physical actions, or bodily fluids as a part of the child care environment.
